Construction & mining working environment

Bring job-site intelligence into the cab.

For excavators, loaders, graders and mining trucks exposed to dust, shock, vibration and demanding shift schedules.

The hardware decision begins with the working day.

Put machine status, site positioning, cameras and dispatch inside a rugged onboard interface.

Construction & mining operator workflow

The terminal connects the operator with equipment data, site instructions, cameras, positioning and remote dispatch.

The screen, processor, positioning module, vehicle interfaces, antennas, harness and application behavior need to be validated together. PDS provides the terminal platform; the final project defines how every element fits the machine.

Start an application brief

Four priorities that shape the configuration.

These are decision points for engineering and validation—not decorative feature claims.

01

Vibration-resistant mounting

Prove readability, sealing, mounting and behavior in the target operating environment.

02

Camera and peripheral support

Define the receiver, antennas, correction path and status the operator must understand.

03

GNSS and dispatch connectivity

Map every simultaneous signal, peripheral and connector before freezing the harness.

04

Wide-temperature project validation

Test startup, shutdown, offline behavior, recovery and the full operator workflow.

What to include in the inquiry

Describe the vehicle or machine, mounting area, operator workflow, expected annual quantity, positioning accuracy, correction source, required interfaces, cameras, network regions, operating system and environmental limits.

What the terminal does not solve alone

A rugged display or RTK module is one part of the system. Antenna placement, steering or control hardware, field software, correction availability, harness design and validation remain project responsibilities.
